You will need DAZ3D's Victoria 4.2 for this package, since this dress includes morphs for the soon-to-be-released Heather for V4.2 by Robynsveil. The dress also comes with texture sets in a variety of colours. Users of Poser 5, 6 and 7 will fully appreciate these textures, since they make up for a Poser shortcoming with regards to how materials are processed. The materials in this dress are all gamma-corrected for optimal rendering. More information on gamma-correction is available on my blog: http://tightbytes.com/wordpress/. 1] Includes: :Geometries:LisaR:SummerDress04ww.obj :Geometries:LisaR:l_ThighBH.obj :Geometries:LisaR:r_ThighBH.obj :libraries:character:Summer Dress V4:Summer Dress V4.cr2 (and associated png) :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Cobalt.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Cobalt.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-DustyRose.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-DustyRose.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-FireRed.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-FireRed.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Green.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Green.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Grey.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Grey.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-LightningBlue.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-LightningBlue.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Pink.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Pink.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Rust.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Rust.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Silver.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Silver.pz2 :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Yellow.png :libraries:pose:Summer Dress V4:Summer-Yellow.pz2 :textures:LisaR:linen01.jpg :textures:LisaR:linen01B.jpg :Runtime:Readme: This file... You can use the dress in other versions of Poser, but the shaders probably won't work as expected. .....Daz3D's Victoria 4x and her Morphs++ 4] Installation Unzip the zip file into your Poser directory so that 'runtime' threatens to overwrite 'Runtime'. Let it... it will thereby place files in their appropriate places. 5] Caveats and Conditions This is provided to the Poser artist community as a free clothing item for Daz3D's Victoria 4x model. There are two main *purposes* - if I can use that term - that I've associated with the publishing of this dress. One is to showcase the fact that Poser conforming clothing doesn't have to be tarty and impractical to be attractive (sorry, guys) - this is a dress *I* would wear! Well, maybe not the polyester version, but perhaps in a nice floral cotton or something like that. All credit must go to Lisa Richie on the design of this lovely outfit. The second reason is to explore using Poser's material room and MatMatic. The shaders that come with this dress are in their eighth version, and I'm looking at different materials than just polyester. I've included 135 material files (like cotton) so feel free to have a play. Questions: email me please. Be sure to tick the update feature of our website for this product, as I will be bring out newer, better shaders as I understand more and implement that knowledge. I warmly welcome any comments, suggestions and critiques -- as long as they're constructive ;) -- in order to create better content for our community. I would also love to see what you've been able to do with this lovely dress. I'm particularly keen on any thoughts you might have about the shaders in particular and gamma-correction (as it pertains to Poser 5, 6 and 7) in general. If ANYone at all is interested in developing shaders with me using Matmatic, I'd be very keen to help you get up to speed in the use of this brilliant tool.
